San Francisco Bay "Go for the Gold" 55 mile Enduro - "Outlaw Style!"

I am proud to post the official results from the 1st ever San Francisco Bay "Race for the Gold" 55 mile Enduro. As it will be spelled out later in greater detail, the race conditions were...challenging!

I overheard Sean Conner explaining to an enthusiastic spectator what the conditions were like and I think the words of this young champion say it best.

"To the Bay Bridge it was pretty flat.
Out at Red Rock it got a little wild.
Heading up to the Golden Gate it got more wild.
Out past the Golden Gate it was just plain crazy wild.
Rounding Alcatraz it was pretty wild.
Heading back to San Leandro - really wild!!!"

Ok, those may not be his exact words, but I did hear him say the word WILD at least 4 times.
On this day 13 racers, 7 safety staff, and some crazy photographer in a helicopter braved just about every element and challenge you can think of while making some incredible San Francisco Bay history.

The results go far beyond what the click of a stopwatch reveals.
The results from yesterday will forever be etched into Bay Area PWC History, and I was proud to be part of every minute of it. Everyone in that room at the awards dinner is a true champion, and the honor of spending time with you - is all mine.
